A+ Bonus Bucks
Welcome to the 2009-2010 A+ Bonus Bucks Program.
Giant is proud to offer our A+ Bonus Bucks program to help our community schools. Now parents and other supporters can earn great awards for schools to use as they choose!
What It Is
With A+ BonusBucks, points accrue with each purchase that uses the Giant Card. It even works with purchases made online with Peapod by Giant. At the end of each month, these points determine your school's cash total which is automatically credited to its account and school totals updated each month. (Please note: Gift cards (excluding store brand gift cards), pharmacy, alcohol and/or cigarette purchases are excluded from accruing points.)
How It Works
A+ BonusBucks are rounded per transaction to the nearest whole dollar amount. At the end of each month,
each school's dollar amount is determined
which is then automatically credited to its account.

If you have a Giant Card
After signing up for the Giant Card, customers can support local school(s) (up to three).
Register Your CardRe-Register Your School
All Participating schools must re-register every year. You will need your ID and Password in order to Re-register your school. Please call the A+ Bonus Bucks Hotline at 1-877-ASK-APLUS (1-877-275-2758) if you do not have this information.
Re-Register Your SchoolEnroll a New School
Schools must enroll to participate. School administrators should visit www.giantfood.com/aplus or contact our A+ BonusBucks Hotline at 1-877-ASK-APLUS (1-877-275-2758). All public, private and parochial schools grades K - 12 are eligible to participate, as well as homeschools. The program is not open to pre-school, day care/after care centers and other non-profit organizations.

The Principal Challenge is Back!
What Would You Do to Earn Additional A+ Points for Your School?
Calling all School Principals... tell us what YOU would do to earn additional A+ Bonus Bucks for your school!
The five most original and entertaining Principals' Challenges will be selected. If your school is chosen and you fulfill your Principal challenge, the school will receive the greater of $1,000 or DOUBLE their A+ Bonus Bucks points earned during the month of November! The contest will begin on 11/01/09.
Principals - apply by mail on school letterhead or by emailing us at Askaplus@cranecommunications.com. Please include your name, school name, address, and telephone number explaining the challenge you would be willing to take. Entry must be received via email or postmarked by November 30, 2009. Mail-in entries may be sent to:

The selected Principals will be notified by phone on or about December 22, 2009. All challenges must be completed no later than January 15, 2010 and witnessed by a store representative. Double points will be calculated from 11/1/09-11/30/09 and posted with the final point earnings by April 1st on our website.
