Giant Food Giant Food Alerts Alerts Customers to Recall of Arrowhead Mills Organic Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour

February 20, 2009, Landover, MD… Giant Food, LLC, following a recall by Arrowhead Mills announced the company removed from sale 2 pound units of Arrowhead Mills Organic Stone Ground Whole Wheat Flour, Lot Code: 06OCT09, UPC 7433347242.

Arrowhead has issued a recall of this product because it may contain a trace amount of an undeclared dairy product, an allergen not listed on the ingredient label.

Upon hearing of the announcement by Arrowhead Mills, Giant immediately removed the item from its shelves. Giant has not received any reports of illness or injuries associated with the consumption of these products. This product poses no threat to individuals who do not suffer from a milk allergy.
